LCU Description
The basic needs of mankind never change — in fact, they seem to grow more urgent as the time of the return on the Lord Jesus draws near. “Life Christian University is more dedicated than ever to do its part in the great end-time harvest. The need for ministers of the Gospel, who will walk in integrity and excellence, proclaiming the life-transforming power of God’s Word throughout the whole earth has never been greater.
“We believe that with God’s grace, we will be able to stay the miraculous course that has been set before us, and go on to affect the lives of a billions of souls for the kingdom of God.”
This is the mission statement for Life Christian University based out of Tampa Florida. We are an extension campus located right here in Marion South Carolina. Our heart here at Resurrection Life Church is to train up mighty men and women of God and one of the avenues we use to do that is Life Christian University. We meet here at our church every Monday night from 6 – 9:00 PM and pour over God’s Word. We also have a wonderful time of fellowship with other like-minded believers. We graduate a multitude of students every December. You can go from a certificate of Theology all the way up to a PhD. We would love for you to join us.
Campus Director, Rev. Bill Barbee
Campus Directors
Bill and Sandra Barbee were married in May 1981 and rededicated their life to the Lord in October of 1981. They have 2 married children, Phillip and Tara Barbee, Elisabeth and Jason Burkle and 7 grandchildren, Noah, Caleb, Hannah, Sophia, Emma, Wyatt, and Abigail.
In 1985 they were led of the Lord to attend Rhema Bible Training Center where Bill attended for 2 years and Sandra 1 year. They have faithfully served in the ministry working with children and youth for almost 40 years. Bill and Sandra Barbee currently live in Rowland, North Carolina and have been actively involved in the Ministry of Helps at Resurrection Life Church since 2016. Bill is the Director of Life Christian University at the church and Sandra is an instructor.
They also founded Generation Life Ministries that host a summer camp for church youth groups of like faith that come together for a week of ministry and fun. Bill and Sandra have always endeavored to help others grow in their knowledge of Lord and to develop their gifts and talents so that they fulfill God’s plan for their lives.
